Health & Safety Policy
It is the policy of Safeway that its operations are carried out at all times in such a way as to ensure, so far as it is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all its employees and all persons likely to be affected by its operations including subcontractors and, where appropriate, the public.

Safeway will take all reasonable measures to meet this responsibility, paying particular attention to the provision and maintenance of a safety management system which enables the ongoing assessment & management of hazards to which employees may be exposed. We aim to provide equipment, plans and systems of work, which are safe and without risk to health. We will provide safe arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances and sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all employees to identify, minimise and manage hazards.

Employees will be made aware that they are expected to contribute positively to their own safety at work and to help create a working environment, which is safe and without risk to health. We aim to ensure that partners, managers and staff, are aware of their own responsibilities to health and safety. Employees are made aware that they are required to work safely and to co-operate with managers in all matters that affect their health and safety at work.

Safeway recognises its duties to persons other than its own employees in the conduct of its business. This is accomplished through the adoption of good safety practices where we have been allocated responsibility and are legally able to do so under the terms of the contract of the works.

Environmental Policy
Safeway recognises the importance of environmental protection, and is fully committed to operating it's business both responsibly and in compliance with all environmental regulations, legislation and approved codes of practice relating to the communications industry, and the activities of the company. It is Safeway’s objective to work with, and to maintain good relations with, all regulatory bodies

It is the declared policy of Safeway to carry out all measures reasonably practical to meet, exceed or develop all necessary requirements and to continually improve our environmental performance by implementing the following practices:

Regular assessment and re assessment of the environmental effects of the Company's activities.
Regular assessment and re assessment of the Company's environmental objectives and targets.
Training of all employees & management in Environmental Issues.
Minimisation of the production of waste.
Minimisation of energy wastage.
Promotion and the use of recyclable and renewable materials
Reduction and/or limitation of the production of pollutants to water, land and air.
Controlling of noise emissions from all operations
Minimisation of the risk to the general public and employees from operations and activities undertaken by the company.
This policy is communicated to all employees, suppliers and sub contractors, and is made available to the public and all regulatory authorities.
